We, the 3rd painting posse are going to stage a video exhibition with the opening night pencilled in for the 19th January 2009.
All videos are in collaboration with the partners we were assigned with; in my case the lovely and incomparable Jane Sugrue.
the plans for the show are in their infancy but as we have all been assigned different jobs in bringing it all together(like a big west-end production i imagine) it is on the verge of heading straight into kicking/screaming toddler territory.

It is entitled 'Where?' i think.
Its about direction, or guidelines. No, its about mapping.
We vox-popped various people and asked them where a particular object or place is, and then asked them how to get to it. We filmed their reactions/answers/directions only.
What we were left with was a lovely mix of details regarding these mysterious things we wanted to get to. lovely. an overload of information. a srange coherency. it kinda reminded me in a wierd way of Brian Eno's visuals for u2's ZOO tv tour. too much data to take in. i love that
